Mindfulness – The Power of “Thinking About Your Thinking”

Do you experience bouts of worry, anxiety, overwhelm?  You are not alone!  And no doubt you have read or heard that Mindfulness and Meditation are wonderful ways to manage or overcome these “bouts”.  But sometimes that can be easier said than done.  It can feel like just one more thing to add to our mountainous “To Do” list. Our best intentions can get derailed.

Mindfulness is described as “Bringing one’s complete attention to the present experience on a moment-to-moment basis” – and not allowing your thoughts to always being projected into the future (the unknown), or replaying the past (ruminating), but rather being here, being now and being present to every experience in this life of ours!

But how does one do that? There are so many articles and videos out there on Mindfulness that it can be daunting to dive in and learn more.

I have come across an awesome article that explains Mindfulness in simple, clear and engaging terms and takes the “woo-woo” out of it all.  I hope that you find this helpful and I hope you will take a few minutes for yourself and give it a try!  Enjoy!
